About Aqua & Terra Drymades

Who we are

Aqua & Terra Drymades is a local boat tour operator based at Rruga Perivolo 3, Perivolo, in Dhërmi on the Albanian Riviera. We run small-group boat tours along the stretch of Ionian coast between the Dhërmi cliffs and the wild Karaburun Peninsula — the same stretch we grew up on. Tours run April through October, weather permitting.

The two tours

We offer two boat tours, each covering the coast in a different direction:

• The Caves Tour — a half-day along the Dhërmi cliffs: the cathedral-arched Pirate's Cave, a cruise past the Gjipe canyon, and a final swim at the shaded Pigeons Cave.
• The Gramma Bay & Blue Cave Tour — a longer day north along the Karaburun coast, taking in Saint Andrew Bay, the Blue Cave, and the inscription-carved cliffs of Gramma Bay.

The boat

We keep group sizes small so there's room to swim, snorkel and take in each stop without rushing. Snorkelling gear and water are provided on board.

How we read the sea

Some stops on the Karaburun route — particularly the Blue Cave — depend on the sea. On marginal days the captain decides whether to enter or hold at the entrance rather than push it. That call is made on the day; reputable operators on this coast do the same, and so do we.
